Simply Soccer is based in New Jersey. Our mission is to provide
a positive soccer experience in an atmosphere of fun and
enjoyment, for all those that participate.
About Simply Soccer
The company was created in 1997 by two coaches dedicated to the pursuit
of a quality soccer education to the American youth.
Company history
Simply Soccer has grown in the past 10 years to provide a range of
different services for the soccer enthusiast, from pre school
soccer all the way to adult classes.
Company people
Simply Soccer is owned and operated by Chris Lawrence, and Stewart Smith
both of which are U.S.S.F 'A' License coaches who are first aid
certified and registered coaches, with the state and national
governing bodies.

Chris Lawrence U.S.S.F
'A' License
Chris is in his ninth year as the assistant Men's coach
at Long Island University. Previously he was the head
Girls coach at Pingry. In his time at Pingry he led them
to Two Conference, County and State championships. Chris
has also coached the New Jersey U19 Women's Olympic
Development team. Chris is also a member of the state
coaching staff. He holds his United States Soccer
Federation 'A' license and is also first aid certified. For more information, please email at:

Stewart Smith U.S.S.F
'A' License
Stewart spent four years as Head coach of Centenary
college men's soccer program. He now is the Director of
coaching and player development for the New Jersey
Rangers. Previously Stewart helped guide New Providence
High School boys to the state championship. Stewart
coaches at NJ Rangers a premier boy's team in New
Jersey. Stewart holds a United States 'A' license and is
first aid certified.

Eric Hawthorn
N.C.S.A.A. Advanced National License
Eric is a teacher currently at Saint Dominic Academy
High School, Jersey City, NJ, USA. He worked with UK
Elite as the PA Regional Director 1996 – 1998 gaining
valuable experience not only as a soccer coach but also
as an educator of young players. During his time he
coordinated and delivered programs and curriculum for
intramural, traveling, and select teams. Established and
developed regional divisions, consisting of educational
program design, market research, and representation at promotional and sales expositions. He was also
responsible for the mentoring, evaluating, and training
of new staff.
Eric has worked with Colonia Soccer Club, Colonia, NJ,
as the
head trainer and coach 1999 to present and also as a
head coach with the New Jersey Rangers FC. He is the
current head coach for the U14 girl’s team for
C.W.S. Soccer Club 2004 to present.
