FUTSAL - The only version of indoor soccer regulated and sanctioned by FIFA, the soccer world's governing body, which actually runs a World Cup in the sport. Teams employ 4 field players and a keeper, and the non-stop action requires frequent player changes (much like line changes in ice hockey). The game uses a size 4 ball with a special double bladder that kicks true but has minimal bounce; consequently, the game rewards development of foot and short passing skills.
